In addition to its use as a healing accelerator, Reiki is a system of meditative and intentional living. I offer both traditional training classes to become a Reiki practitioner, as well as informative workshops that reveal the history and perspective behind the system of Reiki.

Upcoming classes

I teach the Usui Reiki Ryoho method (also called the Usui Spiritual Energy Healing Method) as taught by Frans Stiene of the International House of Reiki. Class size is limited to ensure a personalized experience.

Reiki Level I class

The premise of Reiki is finding your own “bright light” or your “true nature.” In this beginner class, you will learn how to practice healing yourself and the basics of how to help others. This is the first level (Shoden level) that all Reiki practitioners complete.

Each Reiki Level I daylong class includes:

  • The history and components of the system of Reiki

  • The Reiki Precepts (the foundation of Reiki)

  • Reiki meditations and techniques

  • Hands-on/hands-off healing positions

  • Attunements to Reiki energy

*Once certified, you will have an opportunity to practice at our monthly Reiki shares.

You will also have an opportunity to participate in monthly practices on zoom. Which include a brief meditation and hands on healing of self.

Shoden Reiki Level 1

Reiki Level II class

This second-level class is known as the Okuden level, which is Japanese for “hidden or inner teachings.” In this class, you develop a further understanding of your interconnectiveness and nonduality with others by going deeper within yourself. You also learn the three Reiki symbols and three mantras. After completing this class, you can practice Reiki on a professional level if you choose.

Prerequisite: Completion of a Reiki Level I class in the Usui Reiki Ryoho method that I teach or another method.

Each Reiki Level II daylong class includes:

  • Practice developing spiritual and mental focus

  • Techniques and meditations

  • Symbols and mantras

  • A deeper look into a professional Reiki session

*Once certified, you will have an opportunity to practice at our monthly Reiki shares.

You will also have an opportunity to participate in monthly practices on zoom. Which include a brief meditation and hands on healing of self.

Upcoming workshops

Have you been curious about Reiki and want to learn more about it? I offer workshops to introduce people to the system of Reiki. Group size is limited for a more personalized experience.

Introduction to Reiki

Come learn about the basics of Usui Reiki Ryoho. This will include a brief history of Reiki, learning about the Precepts, the foundation of Reiki, a traditional Reiki meditation, hara breathing and a brief hands on/off Reiki treatment.

Each workshop includes:

  • Relaxation breathing techniques

  • Short Reiki treatment
